Blues, Whites and Havana NIghts

We had a wonderful view from our hotel room in the Caymans and boy did I have to dress for the heat. Humidity was high--but on vacation who cares? 

I found this little blue and white flowered number at H&M, in Kansas City a month or so ago.I bought it for next to nothing ($19.00). It was PERFECT for a hot Summer night.

I hope you had a lovely Memorial Day weekend. I am the proud daughter of a Vietnam Veteran. He was shot in Vietnam and continued until he got his platoon to safety. I can proudly say that he was awarded a heroism medal and a purple heart and he's my personal hero. Thank you Dad for fighting for my freedom. You are SO loved! 

This is what I wore to a southern wedding in Louisville, Kentucky this weekend.  It was a beautiful garden wedding, set right outside of a the gorgeous historic Peterson-Dumsenil House. I had an outfit change of plans(which I'll wear in two weekends- to another wedding) because it was high humidity and extremely hot. Silk wouldn't of been the best idea for that!

Here's my outfit of choice for the first night of our tropical vacation. My husband bought me this bright and cheery dress from a second hand store- right off the Champs Elysees(in Paris)on our honeymoon. It's one of his favorites from my wardrobe!

Just Another Day In Paradise

Seriously, these clouds stayed in the same place for like three days straight. We thought that perhaps they weren't real but painted there in the sky. The gorgeous clear water, sun and beautifully painted clouds made it the perfect paradise.

Get ready for numerous vacation posts! 11 days in Paradise wasn't even enough. As long as we had our baby Zuzu sent to us- we could of stayed forever.At least we were coming home to an extremely exciting and new adventure- that's starting in our 4th year of marriage! I can't even wait and I cannot tell you how overjoyed and blessed I feel. Life is a great and beautiful thing.
